Defensive Driving Course
Our Defensive Driving Course is designed for commercial and workplace drivers who want to strengthen their driving awareness and safety skills.
This 6–8 hour program, led by qualified Yukon Driving Academy instructors, uses visual aids and real-world scenarios to help drivers recognize hazards, avoid collisions, and make safer driving decisions.

This program combines in-class instruction with one-on-one in-vehicle training, giving drivers a complete understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of Class 4 commercial driving.
Heavy Trailer Endorsement Training
Our Heavy Trailer Endorsement Program provides drivers with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely operate trailers exceeding 4,550 kg. This comprehensive course covers safe loading practices, trailer setup, proper brake adjustments, and the operation of various couplers. Participants also learn effective techniques for maneuvering and reversing heavy trailers with confidence.
With a strong focus on safety and awareness, the program emphasizes thorough pre-trip inspections and best practices to ensure drivers are prepared for the responsibilities of towing heavy equipment.
The course includes 3 hours of classroom instruction followed by 2 hours of practical, hands-on training and evaluation, combining theory and real-world application for lasting results.
Light Trailer Training
Our Light Trailer Training Program is designed to give drivers the skills and confidence to safely operate smaller trailers under 4,550 kg. Participants learn the fundamentals of proper loading, weight distribution, trailer hookup procedures, and safe driving techniques for a variety of light trailer types.
The course emphasizes safety checks, inspection routines, and maneuvering skills, ensuring drivers understand how to handle light trailers responsibly in both urban and highway settings.
This program includes 2 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of practical, hands-on training and evaluation, providing a balanced approach to theory and real-world experience.
